Chris Carmichael, Director of Communications
Chris graduated from Southern California College (now Vanguard University) with a degree in English Literature and then accepted "the worst job in the world" -- as a technical copywriter at Intel. After absorbing 3 years and one month of Life in a Cubicle, Chris quit his job and traveled the back-roads of America in a battered mini-van, visiting all the cities named Springfield in a 6 month personal odyssey.
Today, Chris manages the internal and external messaging of Soles4Souls, including the public relations team. He also helps create communications strategies and works closely with the executive team on special projects.
"Soles4Souls is an incredible organization that has helped millions of people with a simple and pure gift," Carmichael said. The impact is profound and immediate, and I never get tired of helping put new shoes on the feet of little kids who treasure the gift."
Chris and his wife, Jami, have three very cute/lively sons: Jackson, Cole and Hudson. They live in the Portland area, for now.
