Rebecca Cicione, Social Media Specialist
Rebecca graduated from Rowan University in May 2011, with a B.A. of Communications in Public Relations. While at Rowan, she served as the VP of Ethics, Advocacy and Philanthropy for the university’s Public Relations Student Society of America. She organized events to promote awareness and raise money for nonprofits and social justice causes. During her senior year, Rebecca spent three months developing a plan to further media coverage and financial donations for a local literacy organization. It was during this time that she also continued her study of social media and its effectiveness. She conducted case studies, researched old and new techniques and began practicing these strategic methods in her own projects. In addition, she spent her college years volunteering as a communications specialist for nonprofits such as Come & Live! and Rock for Life.
Rebecca is now the Social Media Specialist at Soles4Souls. She joined our team in after relocating from Southern New Jersey to Nashville, TN to pursue her career goals. Her love of social media and all things promotions inspired her to work for this position. In addition, her passion to help others and influence the world to do the same made this job a perfect fit.
Her duties include updating social media sites, tracking online hits, interacting with Soles4Souls supporters and fans and continually providing relevant content. Her love of social media marketing, in addition to her education, gives her the skills necessary to successfully execute the tasks.
