Mark Granger, Procurement, Footwear Industry

When Mark was 16, Endicott Johnson offered him a job in their St. Louis warehouse. He was later promoted to merchandising and went on the road in 1963. His first territory was Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and eastern California. In 1967, he was transferred to the northern Iowa territory. Later, Minnesota was added to this territory and Mark moved to Minneapolis in 1972. Mark spent a total of 25 years with Endicott Johnson.
While in the shoe industry, Mark became involved in the Northwest Shoe Travelers organization serving 2 terms as president and also with the National Shoe Travelers Association serving as its president in 1980. He also was a regional vice-president with the Two Ten Foundation.
After 48 years on the road with stints with Nunn Bush Shoe Company, Double H, Chippewa Boot Company, and Kodiak-Terra, Mark retired in January of 2008 and came to Soles4Souls to help in the procurement of footwear. He is married with 3 children and 5 grandchildren and continues to live in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis.
