Mehgan Heaton, Events/Marketing

Mehgan Heaton joined Soles4Souls in June of 2009 as the Donor Services Coordinator then received the promotion to her most current position. In her new role at Soles4Souls, she is responsible for in-house marketing projects, heading up the annual Soles4Souls campaigns, and coordinating various events in local communities throughout the country.

Mehgan comes from Ann Arbor, Michigan where her family still resides. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Finance and Marketing. She was drawn to the Nashville area due to extended family and to escape from the cold winters of Michigan. Mehgan met Wayne Elsey prior to graduation, and when a position opened up at the charity she knew it was the perfect match for her. She quickly packed up her car, loaded up her dog and made the big move.

Mehgan was drawn to Soles4Souls as she wanted to “make a difference in this world, and realized that this can be done with the simple gift of shoes.”
