Samantha Jeffres, Donor Services/Accounting

When Sam Jeffres was hired by Soles4Souls she knew right away that she had become part of something very special. She is the accounts payable and donor services specialist in the accounting department. She helps manage the financial obligations that keep the organization operating, as well as processing all donations. Sam has an associate’s degree in Computer Accounting from Nashville State Community College. Sam calls herself an “accounting nerd” but has a passion for helping others, so this position is a perfect fit for her.

“My favorite part of the job is personally handling all the donations that come in,” she says. “No matter how busy I am, I am always amazed at the generosity of the people who believe in us. Our donors inspire me on a daily basis.” It is essential that not only all the money is counted but that all donors, big and small, are personally thanked with a letter and a tax receipt, and Sam is determined to assure each and every donor receives a response.

Born and raised in Nashville, Sam loves music, cooking, and the Tennessee Titans.
