Tiffany Johnson, Events/Spokesperson/Outreach
Tiffany’s first encounter with Soles4Souls was after an unexpected call she received from the organization following a performance at HopePark Church just outside of Nashville. The message expressed an interest in offering her a role helping promote Soles4Souls. She almost didn’t return the call fearing that she would be asked to do something other than music. Tiffany later learned that Soles4Souls wanted her to help carry their message to an even larger audience using the gifts she had already developed: singing, songwriting, and speaking. It was a dream come true.
Tiffany travels across the country facilitating shoe distributions, meeting with organizational leaders on behalf of Soles4Souls, and performing at churches, colleges and universities, civic events, and industry gatherings. “My role with Soles4Souls is such a blessing because my passion for music is combined with my commitment to helping people in real ways...like putting shoes on their feet,” explains Tiffany.
One experience that stands out for Tiffany is when she gave the shoes off her feet to a girl in Haiti who loved her blue and white gingham sneakers. The little girl asked if she could have them. She wasn’t sure if they would fit, but they did. Tiffany knew she had other shoes, but this little girl had never owned a pair of shoes before. It was an easy decision. Tiffany believes everyone has opportunities to change the lives of people. Part of her message is that we must be open to give what we have when the opportunity presents itself; it may be the only chance we have to save a life.
Tiffany is available to speak or perform for your organization or event. She will deliver a passionate message about hope grounded in the heart and soul of the mission of Soles4Souls: to give shoes and hope to those who have been forgotten, overlooked, and pushed aside.
