Emily Prokopik, Travel4Souls Coordinator

Emily Prokopik graduated from the University of Louisville in 2011 with a BS of Business Administration in Marketing, Entrepreneurship and International Business. While at Louisville, she was a part of the distinguished (Top 10 Nationally Ranked) entrepreneurship program and her team’s business plan won first place in a statewide competition. Emily served as chief editor/writer for this new venture and business plan. However, she spent most of her time in college competing in the Big East for the University of Louisville women’s soccer team.

Additionally, she was very active in community service. Emily has always been passionate about humanitarian work, and learned a great deal in her previous jobs working for World Vision and Edge Outreach. While at World Vision she worked in community relations and marketing within the Gifts-In-Kind Pittsburgh office. At Edge, Emily was a creative marketing consultant and helped direct website development and other communicative operands.

Emily’s role at Soles4Souls is Travel4Souls Coordinator, where she markets, plans and leads international distribution trips to the developing countries that Soles4Soulspartners with. More than shoes, Emily loves delivering hope on these trips—and thinks that’s “what it’s all about."
