Linda Shepherd, Accounting/Tax Assistant

Linda Shepherd

Linda began with Soles4Souls in August 2007 as an accounting clerk. Her duties include processing all accounts payable as well as payroll. She also holds the responsibility of sending out letters of appreciation and tax receipts to all donors big and small.

Linda had worked in the accounting field for more than 15 years when she decided to stay home with her youngest son. When he started school 5 years later, she was looking for an opportunity to work part-time a few days a week. At the same time, Soles4Souls was looking for someone to help out around the office. It was a perfect fit.

"I love working for this organization. It allows me to use my skills to contribute to the greater good. It is such a simple concept but one that fulfills such a tremendous need. It is very rewarding at the end of the day to know that you have helped to improve the lives of people in need."

Linda is a native of Louisiana but now calls Middle Tennessee home. She moved here in 1994 and now lives in Antioch with her husband David and two boys, Philip and Matthew.
