Paul Wilson, President, World Outreach Division

Paul Wilson

Paul Wilson has spent most of his life focusing on the needs of others, whether serving as a full-time minister to a full-time foster parent to ten children.

Paul graduated from Southern Theological Seminary and entered ministry full-time as a youth minister, first in South Carolina and then in Tennessee. Five years later, Paul and his wife, Christy, accepted a position to become full-time foster parents through the WinShape Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Chick-fil-A owner Truett Cathy. Through its WinShape Homes division, the foundation provides a loving, stable family environment to children who are in need.

As a foster parent, Paul is devoted to his family's needs -- a devotion that has led him to also reach out to others. In 2002, Paul helped begin Four Corners Ministries (FCM), a non-profit relief organization based in Wadley, Alabama. Under his leadership, Four Corners has grown from two missionaries to over 300. FCM has sponsored short-term relief trips to Sudan, Uganda, Venezuela, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Paul still serves on the board of directors with FCM.

In 2005, Soles4Souls created a new opportunity for him and his family to serve the needs of others around the corner and around the world. Paul's involvement through short-term relief work has laid the foundation for Soles4Souls distribution points throughout Central and South America, as well as Africa.
