Lionel Cartwright, Spokesperson

Lionel Cartwright has been a lifelong musician/performer since his early days of performing in West Virginia. He originally came to Nashville to pursue a career as a country music artist, and made his mark in the early 90's with top 5 country hits, including the #1 "Leap of Faith," as well as "I Watched It All On My Radio," and "Give Me His Last Chance." In the wake of that success, his skills led him to more diverse musical expressions, including work as a film/tv composer, having done themes and scores for over 100 television shows, including Rachel Ray's "30 Minute Meals." He is currently working on an upcoming PBS documentary. In addition, he has led the music community at Bellevue Community Church for several years, which hosts an amazing assembly of Nashville musicians.
"I've had opportunities to work in a variety of musical settings, which have grown me artistically in ways I never imagined." These days Cartwright manages to juggle these various musical roles, and still find time to be a husband and a father, the roles he feels are his most important.
He is currently overhauling his website,
www.lionelcartwright.com, which is home base for his singer/songwriter activity. "I'm working on a lot of new material, which I plan to make available on my site, in the near future."
