Girl Scouts
The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee will soon have a new patch to sew on to their vests. The unique patch program is the first to incorporate Soles4Souls in the longstanding Girl Scout patch tradition.
The program is designed for the individual girl at each stage of her Girl Scout journey, including Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette. Each rank will learn unique facts about the global shoe crisis and will be asked to do as little as donating a pair of their own shoes or as much as coordinating a community wide shoe drive. This is the first time the shoe charity has partnered with the Girl Scout movement, but anticipates the movement will soon spread to other parts of the country.
