Overview

Costa Rica is located in Central America bordered on the north by Nicaragua and the south by Panama.  It’s climate is largely tropical with active volcanoes, beautiful beaches, and tropical rainforests are all with in a short distance of its capitol, San Jose.  Costa Rica is the most advanced of the countries in Central America and it is the only country without an army.  Tourism is its biggest industry with its main exports being bananas, pineapples, and coffee.  Ecotourism is a growing industry. Our team will travel to San Jose to distribute clothes and shoes as well as have the opportunity to experience the Costa Rican culture first-hand. During this 5 day trip, the team will be spending time and giving shoes to the local children. This trip will consist of shoe and clothing distributions, a nature walk, and zip-linning through the rain forest.

Prior to your trip you will receive a detailed informational packet that includes a detailed itinerary, history and cultural facts, recommended immunizations, trip details and helpful tips to assist you in preparing for this experience of a lifetime.
