UHaul Offers 20% Discount to Soles4Souls Donors
A local U-Haul in Tennessee announced Wednesday that they will offer a 20% discount to people who have collected shoes for Soles4Souls, the shoe charity and would like to drop the shoes off at one of their four warehouse locations throughout the United States.
Jerry Barnes is proud to offer a 20% discount to anyone renting a UHaul to deliver a donation to Soles4Souls.
Rentals are available nationwide.

Beginning February 10, donors who have collected a significant amount of shoes for the shoe charity’s Haiti relief efforts and need a way to get the shoes to one of the processing warehouses can find a discount at U-Hauls nationwide. Jerry Barnes, the Nashville U-Haul owner, has negotiated the discount to be good at any U-Haul location across the country.
Soles4Souls has partnered with other organizations on the ground in Haiti to transport and distribute aid. More than 1.3 million pairs of shoes have been committed to the area, including work boots, rain boots, and children’s athletic shoes.
“Many of our partners who stepped up to host shoe drives for us have gotten a larger response from their local communities than they ever imaged,” said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. “Thanks to our friends like Jerry Barnes for offering our partners a cheaper alternative to ensure the victims of Haiti receive the aid they need.”
