Project X ANNOUNCES SHOE DRIVE TO BENEFIT SOLES4SOULS AT Mama Juana's ON February 28th, 2010
Studio City residents are invited to recycle their “gently worn” shoes for people in need
For a limited time, Soles4Souls and Project X in partnership with Sportie LA, will be collecting your gently worn footwear to add to the collection of shoes being donated to the people of Haiti. It is estimated that Americans have 1.5 billion pairs of unused shoes lying in their closets. The charity can use each and every one of these pairs to make a tangible difference in someone's life.
“We can use the shoes taking up space in your closet to help the people of Haiti one pair at a time,” Sol Garcia, Founder of Project X said. “We need our partners in Project X to support our event on February 28th and help make a tangible difference. This is one of the most simple yet profound gifts you can make at this time” she said.
