LONNYS TO COLLECT CLOTHING FOR CLOTHES4SOULS
Long Island residents are invited to participate by donating gently worn jeans
Coming alongside their nationwide drives to collect shoes, Soles4Souls announced in early 2010 the launch of their new charitable division Clothes4Souls. Clothes4Souls collects new clothing from manufacturers, designers, retail partners and the general public. Long Island residents will now have the opportunity to also donate their gently worn jeans to people in need, as part of the clothing drive hosted by LONNYS.
LONNYS is located in Long Island New York and in the towns of Merrick, Woodbury, Hewlett, Great Neck and Huntington.
For a limited time, Clothes4Souls and LONNYS will be collecting gently worn jeans to ship to people in need, whether they are victims of a natural disaster or subject to living in extreme poverty. Beginning today, clothes will be collected at all LONNYS locations on Long Island. For more information about the cause and LONNYS please visit www.lonnysny.com.
"Our footprint is changing as we forge forward for the next five years," said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. "We recognized the overwhelming need internationally and domestically for clothing and we are excited to offer the people of Long Island an avenue to give back more than just footwear." he said.
