Soles4Souls Launches Mobile Website
The shoe charity and ur mobile create specialized site for smart phones
Soles4Souls launched its mobile website Tuesday through the company ur mobile. With more than 270 million Americans using cell phones and 42% of those being smart phones, the reasoning behind Soles4Souls decision to make the format of its website conducive for viewing on smart phones was simple. They will join the growing portfolio of other prestigious non-profit organizations that offer online content for smart phone users.
The mobile site comes just months after Soles4Souls’ launch of their mobile giving campaign, which allows supporters to give easily in an instant, whether riding in the car or at a live concert, without providing credit card information, participating in a lengthy phone call, or having to visit a website. The mobile site compliments their ever growing online presence, while giving donors access to online information about the charity in a user-friendly format right to their phones.
“In a world where Blackberries and iPhones rival computers in retrieving and viewing online content, the innovation of ur mobile presents our website in the most modern sense,” said Kevin Goughary, COO/CFO of Soles4Souls, Inc. “We are thrilled to be able to offer our donors an additional medium to learn about our organization and how they can get involved.”
The mobile site in viewable through data plans on all major cell phone carriers.
Visit the mobile site online now or on your phone later!
