AURI FOOTWEAR® ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH SOLES4SOULS TO DONATE FUNDS FOR EVERY PAIR SOLD

The "Look Good. Feel Good." Brand to use sales to give back to global community.

Auri footwear announced Friday that for every pair of shoes sold through new retail partnerships or their online store, the company will donate funds to the shoe charity to put shoes on the feet of those in need. The partnership will include $5 donations for every pair sold through wholesale and $10 donations for every pair of shoes sold through their Aurifootwear.com website. Soles4Souls has donated more than 7 million pairs of shoes worldwide, and most recently committed more than 1.3 million pairs to the victims of the Haitian earthquake.

Auri is committed to helping the global community with the overwhelming need of footwear. Currently, more than 300 million children worldwide do not own a single pair of shoes. Considering most foreign countries require a pair of shoes for a child to attend school, their donation can mean the difference between a proper education and none at all.

“We are excited about our partnership with Auri and their generous support,” said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. “The simple gift of shoes can truly change someone’s life, and brands like Auri are making a huge impact on the international community with their long-term commitments to make a difference.”

“Our entire organization is thrilled to be partnered with Soles4Souls,” said Ori Rosenbaum, founder and CEO or Auri Footwear. “Ever since we launched in 2008, our goal was to give back and this is the perfect organization to do so with. We will continue to create opportunities for charitable giving because it’s simply become part of who we are as individuals and as a brand.”

Churches Can Participate in Barefoot4Haiti

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

Soles4Souls, THE SHOE CHARITY Issues Appeal to Churches to Participate in "Barefoot4HAITI" for Earthquake Victims

One of the fastest growing charities in the world invites faithful to give up footwear during Sundays in April

Soles4Souls Inc, the shoe charity, issued an appeal today to churches across North America to participate in "Barefoot4Haiti," a campaign focused on engaging the faithful to donate gently worn shoes for victims of the January 12 earthquake in Haiti, which killed more than 200,000 people and devastated a country already reeling from natural and man-made disasters.

Starting on Easter Sunday, April 4th, hundreds of church congregations will invite their members to leave their shoes on the altar in order to demonstrate God's love to the hurting people in Haiti. The campaign will continue through May 2nd. Churches interested in joining in on the efforts can visit www.barefoot4haiti.com to sign up.

"Members of the faith-based community have always been supportive of our goals to help people in need," said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. "When someone gives up their shoes and goes barefoot for the day, it provides a tangible experience of what many people around the world are forced to endure every single day. In this case, all shoes donated will be given to our friends in Haiti who are struggling to rebuild their shattered country," he said.

David Perez, Lead Pastor of hopepark church in Nashville, said his church community has long supported the shoe charity's goals of engaging the public with unique participation programs. "The people at this church have huge hearts for missions and making a tangible difference in someone's life," Perez said. "Shoes are a simple commodity that we all take for granted, and by donating the shoes right off our feet, we hope to inspire our community to get involved in helping the less fortunate."

Elsey noted that his charity is not simply shipping shoes into the country without a plan; Soles4Souls has long had distribution partners on the ground in Haiti. "We have been distributing aid before this earthquake hit and we'll be there long after the news crews leave. We are very thankful that our donors understand this will be a long campaign that requires our sustained attention," he said.

Soles4Souls has already distributed thousands of "family relief packages," which include food, water, medical supplies, cleaning products, baby products and clothes, as well as shoes. Soles4Souls has earmarked one million pairs of new shoes for the country over a sustained giving campaign using distribution partners already on the ground and active in Haiti
